We Believe...

 

1. The Scriptures (both Old and New Testaments) are inspired by God and reveal His truth for humanity

2.There is only One true God revealed in three persons--The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. In the Diety of the Lord Jesus Christ; as God's Son he was both human and divine.

4. Though originally good, man willingly fell into sin, ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual into world

5. Every person can have restored fellowship with God through 'salvation' (trusting Christ through faith an repentance)

6.  First--Water Baptism is by immersion after receiving salvation and secon--Holy communion is a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death.

7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers to be witnesses.

8. The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tounges as expereinced in the book of Acts.

9. Sanctification initially occurs at salvation as a declaration of holiness but is also a life-long process of separation from evil and draing closer to God.

10 The church has a mission to seek and save the lost.

11. A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry serves the church.

12. Divine healing of the sick is a privilege for today.

13. The blessed hope--when Jesus raptures His church prior to His return to earth.

14. In the millennial reign of Christ, the time when Christ will reign on the earth for a period of one thousand years.

15. A final judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ

16 A new heavens and a new earth will replace the current heavens and earth.
